Does insurance cover roof repairs?

Insurance typically only covers repairs if the roof was damaged by a storm or other natural disaster. General roof leaks are not usually covered.

What is the best time for roof repair?

RIGHT AWAY! Don't wait to repair any roof leaks since they can lead to more issues the longer they exist.

Is it better to patch or replace a roof?

If your roof is still in great condition, a leak only needs to be repaired. If your roof needs a complete replacement, a repair can buy you time to budget for the bigger expense.

Can I repair my roof myself?

No. The State of Florida requires all roofing work to be done by a contractor licensed to perform such work. Hiring an unlicensed contractor or performing repairs yourself can result in a fine.

Can you seal a roof leak from the inside?

We do not recommend sealing roof leaks from the inside. Water can still enter through the leak and build up at the seal, causing it to divert to another location.

Can you fix a leak in the roof while it's raining?

We can temporarily stop a roof leak while it's raining. But if conditions are unsafe, we will return and perform a complete repair.

What is the most common cause of roof leaks?

Aging is the most common cause of roof leaks and usually occurs in transitions, valleys, fasteners, gable roof ends, and dormers.

Can you repair a roof with solar panels?

Yes, we can repair a leaking roof with solar panels.

Can you repair skylight leaks?

Yes, we can repair skylight leaks.

What type of roof is easiest to maintain?

Metal roofs are the easiest to maintain, shingle roofs are the cheapest to repair, and tile roofs are the most expensive to repair.
